Overview Network Administrator III is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network systems, hardware, and software. They are responsible for ensuring the network is secure and reliable, and that it meets the needs of the organization. They must be able to identify and resolve network problems quickly and efficiently. Detailed Job Description Network Administrator III is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network systems, hardware, and software. They must be able to configure, monitor, and maintain network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. They must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot network problems and provide technical support to users. They must be able to configure and manage network security systems, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software. They must be able to install and configure network applications, such as email, web servers, and file servers. They must be able to monitor network performance and optimize network performance. They must be able to create and maintain network documentation. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
• Knowledge of network security systems, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software
• Knowledge of network applications, such as email, web servers, and file servers
• Knowledge of network hardware, such as routers, switches, and wireless access points
• Knowledge of network monitoring and optimization tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose network problems
• Ability to provide technical support to users
• Ability to create and maintain network documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in network administration
• Certification in network technologies, such as CCNA or CCNP
