Ndt Technician 2 Jobs in Utah

Candidate must be able to be NAS-410 certified for Ultrasonics testing (UT) and Electromagnetic testing (ET) upon start date

Candidate preferred to be familiar with Microsoft Office suite programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access)

Candidate preferred to be familiar with Solumina and Catia V5

Records, organizes and evaluates test results and enter results into applicable documents .

Ensures compliance to all radiation safety rules and regulations and provides protection to self and others during testing .

Maintains equipment and assures calibration for tests to be performed .

SPECIAL SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Certifies product that is in conformance with customer specifications and maintains traceability to such certification as is applicable.

Meets all requirements to certify in RT, PT and/or MP.

Has demonstrated in depth knowledge of inspections & components to established standards.

2-5 years of NDT experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing

Meets all requirements to certify as a LVL I or Lvl II Xray CR.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.

Interpersonal skills to acquire the trust of the patients and respond appropriately in a crisis situation.

Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skill.

Associate's degree or equivalent 2 years of experience or a year of college and one year related experience.
