Assist in the interpretation of Engineering drawings/requirements and support Level 2 or Level 3’s in determination of inspection requirements.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Assist in generating technical presentations utilizing sound computer skills.

Under direct observation of Level 2 or 3 personnel, observe proper NDT inspection methodology to Gulfstream internal practices and procedures.

Assist in recording inspection records in inspection logs, Solumina, SAP, or other inspection systems.

Team support of NDT inspections performed within Gulfstream.

Must be able to meet color vision requirements

2+ years’ experience with NDT inspection methods

Experience in NDT processes of FPI, MPI, Ultrasonic, X-ray and Eddy Current

Prior experience working on gas turbine engines

Perform a wide variety of inspection duties relating to overhaul and repair of engines or components.

Use a variety of instruments and gauges, use good judgment, and work with minimum direction.

Have the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard.

Have a basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology.

Requires two (2) years of experience as a NAS410 qualified and certified Level 2 or 3 in Radiographic Testing (RT).

Requires current ASNT (or state) Industrial Radiographer Radiation Safety Program (IRRSP) certification.

Prefer ASNT certification as Level 2 or 3 in RT.

Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method.
