National Weather Center Security Officer Jobs

One (1) year customer service experience

Previous experience working in a similar resort setting

Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.

Patrol and monitor all areas of the property, including the exterior by operating a bicycle or company vehicle

Monitor alarm system and surveillance cameras

Provide excellent guest service to guests and employees and resolve complaints and issues involving both guests and employees

Resolve situations within your control and within guidelines established by Risk Management, the Security Department and National Park Service Law Enforcement.

Adhere to all safety, Risk Management and environmental policies.

Excellent written, verbal, and problem solving skills; plus ability to interact effectively with guests, employees and other designated officials.

Possess computer skills necessary to complete required on-line reports.

Working knowledge of radio communications.

Provide support to the production team as they build segments, manage breaking news, and work on long-term projects

Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

Prior internship or job experience in a related field

Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members

Find the best sound bites, video and graphics for the most informative and compelling segments

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prepare written plans, identify objectives and schedules, and coordinate and direct project teams

Experience managing mobile apps launches end-to-end, from writing requirements to launch

Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth.

Manage budget and analyze data to assess the impact of features/projects to measure ROI and inform future decisions

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing or related field AND 10+ years of relevant experience

OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related field AND 5+ years of relevant experience

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prepare written plans, identify objectives and schedules, and coordinate and direct project teams
