Overview The National Risk Officer (NRO) is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management program for a national organization. The NRO will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk across the organization. The NRO will also be responsible for developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures, as well as providing guidance and advice to senior management on risk management issues. Detailed Job Description The National Risk Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management program for a national organization. The NRO will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk across the organization. The NRO will also be responsible for developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures, as well as providing guidance and advice to senior management on risk management issues. The NRO will be responsible for developing and maintaining a risk register, and will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on risk management activities. The NRO will also be responsible for developing and implementing risk management training programs for staff. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of risk management principles and practices
• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risk
• Ability to develop and implement risk management policies and procedures
• Ability to develop and maintain a risk register
• Ability to provide guidance and advice to senior management on risk management issues

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, finance, business, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in risk management
• Professional certification in risk management (e.g. Certified Risk Manager) is preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of risk management principles and practices
• Knowledge of risk management tools and techniques
• Knowledge of risk management regulations and standards
• Knowledge of financial markets and instruments
Job Experience
• 5+ years of experience in risk management
• Experience in developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures
• Experience in developing and maintaining a risk register
• Experience in providing guidance and advice to senior management on risk management issues
• Experience in developing and implementing risk management training programs
