Multi Facility Registered Dietician Jobs in Florida

Participates in teleconferences, updates, working groups, review panels, symposiums related to nutrition education/MNT programming, management or operations.

Licensure/Registration: Must maintain currency through continuing education in dietetics and nutrition in compliance with the CDR of the ACEND requirements

Clinical Certification: Eligible for Certification in Health Education from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC). NCHEC certification preferred.

Executes nutrition policy and program requirements IAW instruction and guidance established by AF/SG.

Delivers briefings, educational sessions, seminars, and worksite wellness programs as needed.

Life Support Certification: Possess and maintain an AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS).

Minimum of 6 months experience as a nurse practitioner.

Conducts age appropriate assessments of patients, including history taking and physical examination consistent with department protocol.

Consults with supervising physician or other clinicians as dictated by patient need and assessment findings.

Reviews medical record for follow up or ordering of diagnostic studies under established protocols.

Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties/activities of health care team members. Evaluates effectiveness of care given by team members.

Participates in unit and department Performance Improvement activities. Participates in nursing research activities as requested. Identifies and solves problems effectively.
