Motel 6 Maintenance Engineer Job Description The Motel 6 Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the motel. This includes performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing any issues that arise, and ensuring that all safety regulations are followed. Job Skills Required

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues

• Ability to use hand and power tools

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to follow safety regulations

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in a maintenance role

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to pass a background check
