Mobile Medication Technician Jobs in Virginia

Knowledge of elderly, ill, and/or disabled.

Certification by an approved basic training program in home health aide services and possess written evidence of such certification is preferred.

No certification needed, but preferred / training can be provided.

Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, resident, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.

Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.

Administer and document regularly prescribed medications to residents in accordance with the Resident Care Plan

Order medication from the pharmacy when necessary and/or by the request of the Director of Health and Wellness

Monitor orders to ensure on time delivery keeping Director of Health and Wellness updated within 12 hours of delivery
