Mixer Operator Jobs

Collect or prepare measurement, weight , or identification for the purpose of building ingredient requirements to meet work order instructions

Document production attributes relevant for batch requirements

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers.

Additional $1.50 per hour shift differential for hours worked between 6pm-6am.

Must be flexible for overtime and weekend work.

Operate machine until mixture is blended and unloads mixtures unto appropriate container.

Blend raw materials using exact formula specifications and following all company and governmental regulations

Employee has the responsibility to report food safety hazards or concerns to their immediate supervisor.

Verify and set up all materials and products needed for batch.

Ensure product safety by following proper thawing and allergen control procedures.

Inspect and ensure the lot numbers accurately match the batch.

Comply with all safety and environmental regulations including GMP’s and OSHA.

Ready Mix Truck driving experience is preferred but will train.

Must have a "safety first" attitude. Strict adherence to safety and DOT requirements is required.

Class B CDL license or higher is required

Must be able to lift, climb and stoop multiple time throughout the day.

Ability to work flexible shifts: days, nights, weekends and overtime. Timely and regular attendance is essential.

1 year of manufacturing experience.

Follow process orders from beginning to end and record all pertinent information.

Mixer will operate forklift and other material handling equipment.

Participate in confined space entry pot cleaning activities, which include use of body harness and extraction system.

Mixing position will participate in determining and implementing corrective actions.

Must be able to wear all required PPE including air purified respirators.

At least 1 year of production or mixing experience in a bakery is required

Measure ingredients and operate equipment to mix and create bagel dough

Shape and organize raw bagels

Clean the bagel machine and prep tables

Available to start work in August

Ability to lift 50lbs frequently throughout the shift

Ability to roll 250-300lb drums

Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of HACCP and FDA.

Pay increases after 6 and 12 months of employment

Drive a mixer truck to and from job sites delivering concrete to customers.

Inspect concrete prior to delivery for product at the point of delivery.
