They must also be able to read and understand delivery orders and follow instructions from the customer. Mixer Drivers must be able to drive safely and efficiently, and must be able to maneuver the truck in tight spaces. They must also be able to inspect the truck and its equipment before and after each trip, and must be able to perform basic maintenance and repairs as needed. Job Skills Required

• Knowledge of the properties of concrete

• Knowledge of safety regulations for transporting concrete

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to pass a background check

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair of trucks and equipment

Job Experience

• Previous experience operating a mixer truck is preferred
