Mine Mechanics are responsible for maintaining and repairing the machinery used in mining operations. They must have a strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics, as well as a good understanding of safety protocols.

• Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Knowledge of safety protocols

What is Mine Mechanic Qualifications?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical school or college degree in a related field (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• Certification in Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA)

What is Mine Mechanic Knowledge?

• Knowledge of mining operations and machinery
• Knowledge of electrical systems
• Knowledge of welding and fabrication

• Previous experience in a mining environment (preferred)
