Middle School Academic Technologist Jobs

Experience as an education program leader at a high-performing charter public

Work with the school wide Director of Education (Head Principal) in the evaluation of teachers.

Standard teaching license from the NJ Department of Education

Minimum seven years teaching experience at the middle or high school level

Teacher Hiring, Induction and Certification Oversight

Provide observation and feedback, as well as real-time coaching and instructional modeling for academy teachers;

Knowledge of community, educational and social service resources in the district’s community.

Three (3) years experience working with middle/high school, higher education, and/or GEAR UP programs.

Experience managing, tracking and reporting program data.

Experience in student academic support programs.

Proficiency in the use of computers and MS Office software programs Excel, Outlook, Word.

Willingness and ability to travel overnight and work a flexible schedule, including frequent nights and weekends.

Master's degree in education or a related field

5-7 years of teaching experience

Substantive experience in hardware and software support

Demonstrated understanding of technology integration

Familiarity with a 1:1 laptop program

Provide instructional coaching to Middle School teachers through content-integrated technology support.
