Qc Microbiology Assoc I Jobs in Florida

Read test results and notify Lab Management of results that are out of specification;

Reporting and evaluating results and data entry using Labware (LIMS);

Knowledge of chemistry and analytical chemistry fundamentals as related to quality control;

Strong functional and technical skills, strong analytical instrumentation background in quality control and in a production environment;

Excellent written and oral communication skills;

Good organizational skills and great attention to detail;

Monitor and trend EM data and update management on environmental trends. Implement corrective action plans when necessary.

Oversee implementation of new programs and qualifications such as Container closure integrity and headspace analyzer testing.

Reports to the next level line manager

Previous superviosory experience in Quality Control preferred.

QC Microbiology experience performing and validating microbial assays and methods in the biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry.

Excellent knowledge of GMP, ICH, USP and global compendial regulations and guidance.

Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.

02-04 years related experience required.

Occasional business travel required, Valid driver's license and passport, Ability to work non-stand schedule as needed, On-call hours as needed.

Occasionally:Reaching upward and downward, Push/pull, Visual Acuity with or without corrective lenses

Occasionally: Proximity to moving parts

Occasionally: Production/manufacturing environment, Warehouse environment

Working knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements (21 CRF Part 11/210/211).

Oversee and execute analytical method qualifications, validations and transfers including drafting technical protocols, reports and assay troubleshooting.

Author, revise and review SOPs, qualification/validation protocols and reports.

Strong knowledge of GMP, SOP’s and quality control process

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in the biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry.

Fulfill requests from management for assistance in other matters as needed.
