Overview Meter Technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing meters used to measure the flow of electricity, gas, and water. They also inspect meters for accuracy and safety, and ensure that all meters are in compliance with local regulations. Detailed Job Description Meter Technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing meters used to measure the flow of electricity, gas, and water. They inspect meters for accuracy and safety, and ensure that all meters are in compliance with local regulations. Meter Technicians also troubleshoot and repair any issues with meters, and may be required to perform tests to ensure accuracy. They may also be responsible for calibrating meters, and may be required to install new meters or replace existing ones. Meter Technicians may also be responsible for providing customer service, answering questions, and providing technical support. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of electrical, gas, and water meters
• Knowledge of local regulations
