Mep Construction Manager Jobs

This role will assist the Project Management team with Owner demonstration and training on MEP systems.

This role will actively manage MEP activities on assigned projects in addition to leading and mentoring MEP coordinators.

This role will collaborate with our QAQC Manager to refine and develop new QAQC processes for MEP work.

This role will lead our MEP group, including other MEP coordinators as well as actively manage MEP efforts on assigned projects.

Qualified candidates will have strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced, yet precise environment.

A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience and MEP system expertise is required.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Provide regular updates to project management and participate in project meetings as required.

Familiarity with construction management software and tools.

Manage and oversee MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems for commercial and industrial construction projects.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Minimum of 8 years of experience as an MEP Superintendent in commercial or industrial construction projects.

BS Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent Construction Management experience

Manage the contract document development phase understanding the agreement and develop preliminary construction schedules

5 + years’ experience preferred

Foundational experience with mechanical, electrical, or plumbing

Strong communication, leadership and team building skills

MS Office skills required, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

MEP Project Manager - with an emphasis on relevant HVAC design experience

Lead and manage HVAC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule

Conduct site visits and assessments to gather project requirements, evaluate existing HVAC systems, and identify potential design improvements

Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders

Develop detailed project plans, including scope of work, deliverables, and resource allocation

Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, and calculations for HVAC systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications

5+ years of experience in mission critical coordination/data center construction and fit out

Demonstrates proper performance of skills reflected and validated by the competency checklist

Experience with project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control while providing technical direction

5+ years of MEP construction experience

Strong experience in commercial construction

3 offices in the greater Philadelphia region

Doubled in size in the past 5 years

•Previous experience of construction management on site

•Work on multiple projects as assigned by upper management

•Manage the construction project as owner’s representative in the US with challenging agenda

•Experience with construction of industrial buildings, preferably in greenfield manufacturing environments

•Previous experience of procurement processes and contract negotiations
