Prior coaching experience at the college level

Typically has some impact on developing the skills for a portion of student-athletes.

Supports culture of education through athletics. Assists in academic integration with team, as appropriate.

Requires at least 3 years of coaching, professional or Olympic experience.

Requires substantial sport-specific knowledge and knowledge of relevant issues.

Requires deep knowledge of the rules and regulations of national and international fencing

Ideally have attended Coaching education program and/or rated internationally as a referee or nationally a 1,2 or 3

General knowledge of budget preparation and fiscal management

Knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment, academic eligibility requirements, and retention of student-athletes

Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations

Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the game of soccer

Knowledge of athletics recruitment methods and techniques

Strong interpersonal skills that demonstrate an ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community

Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills.

Organizes and manages assigned recruiting efforts and administrative responsibilities.

The assistant coach is responsible for all NJCAA Division II rules as it relates to offering scholarships.

Required: Coaching experience at the high school level or above.

Desired: Baseball coaching experience at the college level

Desired: Experience in Academic Advising Student Athletes

Desired: Experience with NCAA rules & regulations in regard to two year transfers

First aid/CPR certification is a plus.

Strong organizational, management and leadership skills

Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and social media

Proven operational knowledge of Trackman including, ability to analyze and report data to player

Full driver's license and experience driving oversized vehicle.

Thorough knowledge of NCAA and American conference rules and regulations

1 year of golf coaching experience

Knowledge of rules and techniques of the specific sport

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of NCAA Division III and Centennial Conference rules and regulations

Prepare, schedule and organize daily practice sessions, game preparation for competition and off-season training

Recruiting of prospective student-athletes in accordance with the NCAA, Centennial Conference, and Ursinus College policies and procedures

Provide general advising, mentoring and support to student-athletes

Manage and produce content for the Men’s Golf Team social media platforms

Demonstrate a proficiency and working knowledge of social media outlets

Working knowledge of major computer programs

Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations

High level competitive golf knowledge preferred but not required

Previous division one coaching experience preferred but not required
