Medical Terminologist Assistant Jobs

Collaborate with project teams and support management of tasks using collaboration tools

Conduct data gap analyses on partner data exports and workflows against message standards and business requirements for data exchange projects

3+ years of relevant work experience within Public Health, lab, or other health informatics capacity

Practical experience with using healthcare standards-based terminologies, at minimum SNOMED CT and LOINC

Proficient in the use of the NIST tool or experience with HL7 message validation

Education in Medicine or related fields (Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinical laboratory science, Medical Informatics, Medical Research, Medical scribing, medical coding…)

2+ years of experience in the field

Experience in at least one of these medical terminologies: SNOMED CT, RxNorm, LOINC

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Experience in clinical terminology mapping using SNOMED CT, LOINC or RxNorm.

Experience in annotating training data for machine learning models.

- Effective time management skills

- Associates Degree in, education, communication, or health related field or equivalent work experience

- Knowledge in Medical terminology

- 2 years - Experience in a customer service support role is required

- Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills

- Independent, Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
