A medical scribeshould have the following skills, education and experience:

Adheres to job requirements regarding PPD testing, licensure, certification, and assigned training.

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, or director.

Plans to continue education with goal of PA school or medical school in the future preferred.

Offer support and demonstrate teamwork to co-workers.

- Offers paid one-on-one time with physicians

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office and EMR experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to observe and to draft a narrative account of events accurately and grammatically correct

Ability to spell, proofread, and edit written documents

Understanding of and commitment to the appropriate protection of confidential patient information

Standard office equipment including computers, fax and scanners, copiers, printers, telephone, calculators.

Fluent in the English language with excellent writing and speaking skills

Bachelor's Degree or 1-2 years equivalent experience in a related field required

Highly knowledgeable with medical terminology, and human anatomy

Competitive compensation ranges from $11.00 - $17.00 per hour based on location, experience, and time commitment.

Perform chart preparation per clinic protocol

Accompany the provider in all scheduled patient visits

Fluent in the English language with excellent writing and speaking skills

Bachelor's Degree or 1-2 years equivalent experience in a related field required

Accompany the provider in all scheduled patient visits

Requirement of a GED or high school diploma

Document patient history, physical exam findings, and procedures.

Communicate, prioritize, and advocate efficient patient flow among physicians, providers, and the medical team.

Support providers in placing and monitoring orders for lab tests, imaging, and medications.

Record diagnoses and choose appropriate discharge and follow-up instructions.

Flexible Schedule: Work three shifts per week with the opportunity for unlimited overtime pay (1.5x).

Supports the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the Practice. Adheres to safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities.

Dental experience, specifically with TMJ (preferred)

Communicates effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers.

Follow up as needed with patients and Physicians via phone, email, letter & referral.

Reviews schedule at least one week in advance and prepares as necessary, including to continue to focus on a productive schedule

Assists in workroom and ensures par levels are maintained for clinical supplies.
