Overview Medical Assistant Memorial Internal Medicine is a medical assistant who works in a medical office setting, providing administrative and clinical support to the physicians and other healthcare professionals. The medical assistant is responsible for a variety of tasks, including patient check-in and check-out, scheduling appointments, taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with medical procedures. Detailed Job Description Medical Assistant Memorial Internal Medicine is responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to the physicians and other healthcare professionals in a medical office setting. The medical assistant will greet patients, take vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and assist with medical procedures. The medical assistant will also be responsible for scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, and maintaining patient records. The medical assistant will also be responsible for providing patient education and answering any questions the patient may have. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of medical terminology

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited medical assistant program
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of medical office procedures
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
