The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to the physicians and staff of the Lakeland General Surgery practice. This includes but is not limited to:

• Assisting with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures.
• Scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
• Assisting with medical billing and coding.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.
