Medical Assistant For General Dermatology Jobs

Be a graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), OR

The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologists,

1 year experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 3 years.

EMT certification is accepted as required certification until MA is obtained.

Interviews patients and measures vital signs. Updates patient's medications and allergy lists. Records information in the EMR.

Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients, including stocking and cleaning.

Three years (3) Back Office experience

Customer Service: Making every patient’s experience positive by having empathy and exceeding expectations.

Assist the provider as needed during exams and/or procedures, helping the provider be as efficient as possible.

Seek to be one step ahead of provider and anticipate needs before they arise.

Give direct patient care as directed within scope of training.

Room patients, update history, handle medication refills/documentation.
