Overview Medical Assistant and Front Desk job is a combination of two roles. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to the healthcare team, while the Front Desk is responsible for providing customer service and administrative support to the healthcare team. Medical Assistant:

• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and administering medications.
• Perform routine laboratory tests, such as urinalysis, blood tests, and EKGs.
• Prepare and maintain patient medical records.
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain appointment calendars.
• Answer phones, take messages, and respond to patient inquiries.

Front Desk:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer phones, take messages, and respond to patient inquiries.
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain appointment calendars.
• Collect patient payments and process insurance claims.
• Maintain patient records and filing systems.
• Prepare and maintain office supplies and equipment.
