Material Planning Analyst Jobs

Proficient in MS Office including Excel, WORD & Outlook

High School Graduate or Equivalent

History of excellent attendance and teamwork.

Performing User acceptance testing and actively supporting change management for SAP or any other relevant system enhancements/upgrades

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience with Smartsheet, Tableau, Cognos, or SAP reporting capabilities is a plus

Providing training and guidance to the Material Master coordinator(s) and serving as a backup for Material Master manager specific tasks

Generating reports and queries in response to inquiries from Product Managers

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience

Working knowledge of SAP ERP master data files and how they are used in Planning, Manufacturing, Inventory Control

10+ years of experience in a Raw Materials, Planning, Operations, Textiles, or Project Management role preferably within a Sourcing organization.

Excellent presentation skills and experience presenting to Executive Leadership teams.

Working directly with raw material suppliers on capacity planning, unlocks, capabilities, and strategic implementation of fabric and yarn positioning.

Manage fabric ownership and work with mills to strategically position and project on core fabrications and yarn.

Reporting out on raw material lead-times and speed capabilities

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the apparel/ textile industry.

4 years of experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning and execution.

2 years of experience in Program Management or Operations on technical cross-functional projects.

Knowledge of the tools and elements of project management.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Experience leading cross-functional process improvement.

Experience in demand forecasting, inventory optimization and supply planning.

• S&OP Step 3 Supply Chain Management Review: Material Supply Viability and Risk Mitigation Planning

• MRP System Implementation Experience a strong plus

• 6-8 years of relevant hands-on CPG planning experience Required

• Development, maintenance, and communication of the rolling 12-month Material Forecast by supplier

• Development, maintenance, and communication of the operational MRP plan for Ghost Procurement

• Business Intelligence and KPI Development, Trend Analysis, Safety Stock Target Development / Adherence

Duration: 09 Months+ (High Extension Possibility)

Shift Time : M- F 8AM -5 PM EST

This position is responsible for assisting the Supply Chain with demand and production planning reports and tools.

·Support Inventory Deployment through analysis to balance Inventory among the DCs.

·Monitor and report on finished goods inventory.

General knowledge of production scheduling and capacity management

Knowledge and/or experience in material control, purchasing, parts distribution, inventory control, manufacturing engineering, operations and transportation or logistics

Assisting Buyer in purchasing duties as needed including rejections, quality requirements, cost improvements and quotation evaluation.

Associate degree and minimum of 3 years of experience within a logistics, purchasing, or supply chain related role

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization, and communication skills
