Marketing Budget Associate Jobs

LOCATION: OPM, Budget and Financial Management Division

Participates in review of state agencies fiscal management policies, procedures and systems;

Participates in conferences and legislative hearings regarding the financial requirements of assigned agencies and programs;

Working with vendors and vendor managers to ensure efficient collection of requirements for clinical supply chain functions.

Develop budget overviews based off vendor management, clinical systems and logistics team inputs.

Relevant degree or equivalent education within business or finance area.

Ideally experience working within pharmaceutical or biotech environment, or alternatively working within a supplier or procurement group.

Experience within budgeting and invoice tracking.

Some knowledge of supply chain processes would be advantageous.

Reconcile forecast submissions and compile variances for management and Finance review

1-3 years’ experience in Finance or Marketing

Develop strong relationships across Marketing and Finance departments

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

Maintain forecasts for assigned budget groups through Excel workbooks

Meet regularly with Marketing Operations and budget owners to review current and future month forecast variances

Supports projects across program portfolios and executes directives of multiple planning and budget managers on a regular basis.

Prepares financial models and reports, and budget narratives as required.

Works with program staff to build and maintain forecasts.

Oversees the monthly report distribution for program planning and budget. Compiles, analyzes, and/or publishes organization wide information.

Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, or a directly related field.

Education & Experience Equivalency: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for one year of the minimum experience requirement.

Has some public sector budgeting or finance experience
