Major Donor Relations Officer Jobs in Arkansas

Essential experience, knowledge, skills and abilities:

Develop and implement management strategies and approaches aimed at advancing donors into higher levels of giving and ultimately planned gifts.

Minimum 3-5 years fundraising experience in major gifts strongly preferred.

Proven fundraising track record with experience identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding high-level donors.

Position may be based at one of the American Humane office locations or be fully remote.

Steward donors who have already made contributions to American Humane.

Ensure accurate and timely upkeep of donor data in the donor management database

At least 3 years of experience in donor relations

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Cultivate, appreciate, nurture, retain and grow existing individual donors

Support the Development Team and Executive Director in their donor cultivation efforts

Assist with proposals and reports for major donors and other writing needs

3-5 years or more of successful fundraising or similar relationship-management experience

Experience with constituent relationship management databases, especially Salesforce.Ability to create and run reports.

Impeccable written and oral communication skills

Capacity to understand and respond to individual international donors’/partners’ needs and perceptions.Experience managing a team in a cross-cultural context preferred.

Some graphic design experience or familiarity with basic design tools

Knowledge of principles and techniques relevant to major gift fundraising and stewardship
