Overview The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and grounds. This position is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Detailed Job Description

The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and grounds. This includes but is not limited to:

• Performing general maintenance and repair work on buildings, equipment, and grounds
• Inspecting and maintaining building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Assisting with the installation of new equipment and systems
• Responding to emergency maintenance requests
• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and systems
• Maintaining records of maintenance activities
• Assisting with the upkeep of grounds and landscaping
• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of events
Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of building systems and equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in building maintenance or related field
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of building systems and equipment
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Job Experience
• Previous experience in building maintenance or related field
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing equipment
