Overview LTC CNA CMA is a Licensed Nursing Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant who works in a Long Term Care (LTC) facility. They provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living. They also provide support to the nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. Detailed Job Description LTC CNA CMA is responsible for providing direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living. This includes providing assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living. They also provide support to the nursing staff by taking vital signs, recording patient information, and providing emotional support. They may also assist with medical procedures, such as administering medications, collecting specimens, and performing basic laboratory tests. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and move patients
• Knowledge of infection control procedures
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CNA/CMA certification
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

• Knowledge of patient care procedures

Job Experience
• Previous experience working in a long-term care facility
