Lower School Reading Specialist Jobs

Minimum one year of Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) experience required, based on state requirements.

Current CPR certification, based on state requirements

Current, unencumbered state certification to practice as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

Copy of updated Physical, based on state requirements for a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

Copy of updated TB results/ Chest x-ray

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Master’s degree in Reading Education, Literacy, or related area.

Must possess knowledge of the needs of students requiring remedial reading instruction.

Must have a strong knowledge base in the area of learning differences, especially dyslexia and dysgraphia

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Conduct individual and school-wide assessments in order to evaluate levels and targeted interventions.
