They must also be able to read and understand maps and directions, as well as follow all applicable laws and regulations. Local CDLAs must be able to inspect their vehicles before and after each trip to ensure that they are in proper working order. They must also be able to load and unload their vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Job Skills Required
