They must be knowledgeable of the local area and have the ability to follow directions and adhere to safety regulations. They must inspect their vehicles before and after each trip to ensure that they are in good working order. They must also maintain accurate records of their trips and deliveries. Local CDL Truck Drivers must be able to load and unload their vehicles and be able to lift heavy objects. Job Skills Required
