Linguist For American English Voice Experience Jobs in New York

Candidates must understand cultural difference and purposefully help to uplift ideas from underrepresented groups to improve the equity balance in education

Ph.D., high school teaching experience, and/or experience working with youth is desirable.

The successful applicant for this position must be committed to teaching classes at both the high school and college levels

Interest in working with high school age students who are completing a college-level course of study is desired.

A commitment to reducing and an openness to learning about potential barriers to inclusion are needed

Use of spreadsheets for data management and basic statistical analysis

Working knowledge of General Linguistics, applied to American English (Phonetics, Phonology, Semantics, Syntax and Morphology)

Knowledge in Natural Language Processing (formal grammars, regular expressions, etc.) and/or in command line (unix-style terminal)

2-3 years of experience as a Linguist in the tech industry

Passion for music, and extensive knowledge of musicians/artists

Producing (or supervising the production) of the textual and audio data used to feed our machine learning models
