Memorial Hermann expects pilots to pass ATP checkride with 1 year of employment start date paid for by Memorial Hermann.

2000 hours Pilot-in Command of a turbine helicopter required, 3,000 hours Pilot-in-Command of a turbine helicopter preferred

75 Hours Helicopter IFR required; 100 hours helicopter IFR preferred

Bachelor's degree in Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Engineering or Management required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)

Manages flight test personnel at the flight test sites and remotely

Test pilot qualification or equivalent test experience on unmanned systems

Manages flight test engineers, ground crew and test crew

Reviews System Requirement documents to help ensure requirements are concise and testable

Demonstrates clinical assessment skills and care planning skills.

Provides safe and effective care for the age population served according to regulatory requirements.

Minimum five (5) years recent Emergency or ICU Registered Nurse experience within a level 1 trauma center or tertiary center

Advanced Certification of: must have minimum of one: CEN or CCRN or CTRN or CFRN is required

CFRN Certification is required 1 year after successful completion of the orientation program

Allegheny General was the first hospital in our area to have fixed wing emergency transport

Must meet all currency requirements regarding instrument flight time and night landings required

Strength Factor Rating - Physical Demands/Requirements

Prepare annual operating budget, which includes all operating expenses. Monitor operating budget monthly.

Coordinate aircraft maintenance efficiently so as not to interfere with flight operations.

Coordinate aircraft handling and fueling with Fixed Based Operators (FBO).

Establish and monitor security procedures to protect the aircraft and company facilities.

1+ years' experience using candidate applicant tracking or training management systems

Demonstrated experience in Project Management reporting performance and metrics

Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills

Engage with Hiring Managers by conducting thorough intake sessions, debrief sessions, clarifying staffing needs and responsibilities

Manage positive internal and external applicant experience throughout the recruitment process

Discuss offer details with Hiring Managers and extend verbal offers and negotiate offers to successful acceptance

Three years experience working in a hospital, at 911 dispatch, or in Life Flight or other air ambulance communication center.

Experience working in a high volume/high stress environment (e.g. ED or ICU).

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong computers skills, including word processing.

NAACS (National Association of Air Communication Specialists) certification.

Receives all requests for patient transports in an expedient, accurate, well-organized and professional manner.

Provide flight and ground instruction per standards defined in Cirrus policy and procedure documents in concert with Part 142 syllabus requirements.

Manage travel expenses in accordance with Cirrus company policies.

Process and maintain a deep level of aircraft knowledge and be a model aviator, flight instructor, and Cirrus representative.

Participate on future planning, training, and management teams

Review weather and functional requirements for each flight

Be responsible for flight planning, domestic and international

Transport company personnel to destinations

Communicate with passengers on a professional level to ensure their safety and comfort

Work with other company pilots, schedulers, and maintenance personnel in a crew concept

Current State of Utah Certification to practice as a paramedic.

Certification(s) as appropriate to area(s) of practice: (i.e. Pediatric Advanced Life Support [PALS], Advanced Cardiac Life Support [ACLS]).

Three years of experience as a 911 responder and working for a 911 response agency at time of hire.

Experience with intensive care transports

Five years of experience as a 911 responder

Advanced Trauma Transport Certification (must have within 1 year of hire and maintain throughout employment)

1+ years’ experience using candidate applicant tracking or training management systems
