Providing brief behavioral health support to persons living with addiction

Monitoring adherence to medical and behavioral health treatment

Connecting patients with community resources for biopsychosocial, financial, and other needs

2 years of experience In a clinical/counseling setting

Preferred candidates for EAP Counselor will have A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work

Perform psychosocial and diagnostic assessments

Diagnose patients in accordance with the current DSM

Involve collateral sources in patient’s treatment as clinically indicated (e.g., family, friends, etc.)

Facilitates treatment groups (including check-in, educational, expressive therapy, relaxation), along with milieu management.

Understands patient placement criteria and can identify proper level of care to convey to Managed Care along with the initial pre-cert.

Communicates to Manager any incidents regarding patients and staff that may compromise unit safety.

$10,000 Tuition Reimbursement per year ($5,700 part-time)

Proven excellent time management and prioritization skills

Demonstrated experience leading groups and solid presentation skills

Working knowledge of Public Sector benefit plans

Monitoring provider performance on program metrics, quality outcomes and adherence to contract requirements

Independently licensed behavior health clinician including RN with behavioral health experience or LISW, LICSW, LPC, LPCC, LMFT, PsyD

Experience in interpreting and utilizing clinical data analytics, outcomes measurement in healthcare and use of that data to drive change
