Experience taking content policy products from initial strategy to framework design to full product launch.

3-4 years experience in product policy.

Law or Legal experience. Having worked at a Law firm is a huge plus.

Preparing presentations and policy papers to other policy professionals, lawyers, lawmakers, and government officials;

Supporting the development and maintenance of policymaker coalitions;

Former project management or equivalent experience

Lead ongoing communication and change management efforts as a result of new or revised policies

High level Roles and Responsibilities include:Assist Global HR Policy Lead with all aspects of HR Policy Governance oversight

Shepherd document owners through the HR Policy Governance process; including Council and Client Policy Committee requirements

Oversees HR Policy’s inventory and ongoing maintenance requirements including the recording and tracking of dispensations, waivers, breaches, tracks document pipeline

Manages Global HR Policy Governance inquiries, mailbox

Internships or other experience in legislative or executive offices, or a policy organization

Strong writing and research skills

Getting down to brass tacks, your specific job duties will likely include

Track legislation and news on active campaigns to determine the best course of action for the legal policy team

Promote PLF and your work through writing, speaking, and media interviews

Contribute to IDI's training activities and tools to strengthen the capabilities of organizations to support communities to defend their rights;

A graduate degree in law, human rights or related field, or an equivalent level of additional work experience;

Demonstrated corporate accountability case work experience (judicial or non-judicial) where communities are in the driver's seat;

Demonstrated experience developing and implementing policy advocacy campaigns;

Strong writing, editing and oral communications skills

Strong legal, analytical, research, advocacy, problem-solving and interpersonal skills;

Knowledge of New York education policy highly desirable

Track record of successful project management

Work with our lobbyist to track legislative bills and create a system to manage bill tracking succinctly

Assist in developing and implementing a strategy to engage and manage local stakeholders

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong research and analysis skills

Minimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare industry with in-depth knowledge of managed care, post-acute care, DME and/or home health marketplace.

Experience or advanced knowledge of evidence based clinical research is required.

Capable of managing multiple tasks and ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients and all levels of management.

Bachelor's Degree in a transferrable discipline or equivalent experience preferred.

3+ years of experience moving pro-liberty legislation
