Legal Operations Billing Analyst Jobs

Develop presentations across various topics including strategy, forecasting, and budgeting, and outside counsel management.

Law Firm and Legal Vendor Management

Minimum of five years' experience in analytics, metrics, finance, or another similar role required.

Liaison with finance and accounting teams and Department leadership to develop, communicate and facilitate adherence to budget.

Manage the administration of the Legal Operations SharePoint site and content.

Manage vendor subscriptions including assessing usage and replenishing purchase orders.

Responsibilities:Position involves regular billing and electronic billing skills to support the Firm’s practice groups

Qualifications:Previous experience in a law firm billing department is preferred

Maintain billing files in an orderly manner in file-site folders, which detail client and billing requirements

Respond to billing and collections inquiries and provide reports for clients and attorneys

Research and generate statements and reports

Enter daily cash receipts, including checks, ACH, wires, etc.

Investment management industry experience and familiarity with Investment Company Act of 1940 is appreciated, but not required.

Experience with GEMS or other entity data management or analytics software.

Assisting paralegals and attorneys with public company matters, including records management, resolutions, minute books, disclosure questionnaires and tracking investment approvals

Has excellent organizational skills and can follow through on long-term projects

Education: Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background

Working with other business/legal/operations stakeholders to implement and improve internal processes and workflows

Client and matter database management

1-3 years of billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable or collections experience; law firm experience preferred

Elite 3E billing software experience preferred

Advanced organizational, written and verbal communication, and detail-oriented skills

Compensation for this position will be 50k-60k, commensurate with experience.

Responsible for all aspects of billing cycle for assigned attorneys
