Legal Counsel Litigation Jobs in Michigan

Two to four (2 – 4) years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and business/project management experience preferred.

Assist with compliance and other risk management matters coordinated by the Legal Team.

Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.

Proven problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues and meet deadlines under tight time frames.

Review reports or work product issued to clients in North America and Asia.

Collaborative style with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers at all levels.

Brief senior management on disputes or matters involving significant legal risk; and

10+ years of relevant legal experience at an in-house law department and/or law firm, demonstrating litigation experience and strong strategic skills.

Manage the Company’s actions regarding disputes, including budgeting and managing outside counsel;

Ability to multi-task and manage a significant workload with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Clear and effective written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrate risk assessment and negotiation skills.
