Lead Healthcare Data Analyst Jobs in California

2 to 5 Years of Experience and knowledge of healthcare data and analytics

Proficiency with basic statistics and management reporting

Knowledge of, and experience with, healthcare claims data and their nomenclatures

Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio

Strong experience with database tools and technologies

Strong SQL, Azure Databricks, Visual Studio experience

* Experience in data science/analytics with a focus on product and user analysis

* Strong communication skills and patience when working with multiple stakeholders simultaneously

* Theoretical Experimentation/AB Testing knowledge as well as its applications in a product and marketing setting

* Prior experience with Business Insight tools such as Tableau, Mode Analytics, Looker, etc.

* 2-3 years of data analysis experience, preferably in the healthcare industry

* SQL experience required; Google Analytics and Python a nice-to-have

(Remote – West Coast only)

· Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns for methods to better benefit the Plan.

· Maintains an up-to-date and thorough knowledge of Client’s policies as related to provider contracting and operations.

· Supports Manager, Provider Network.

· Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.

· Presentation Skills - Ability to effectively present information publicly.

5+ years of SQL skills with excellent hands-on exposure to creating complex queries across multiple database schemas

1+ year of experience in at least one programming language for data manipulation (e.g. R, Python, Scala/Spark or Perl, etc.)

Possesses high proficiency in applied statistics skills, such as statistical testing, regression modeling, etc.

3+ years hands-on experience in A/B testing and experimentation with history of arriving at conclusive results

3+ years of experience creating data visualization dashboards in Tableau, Qlik, or equivalent

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present complex data analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership

Working with management to prioritize business and information needs

Facilitating clear day-to-day communications with customers, contributing to the ClaimReturn experience

Familiarity and experience with reporting packages

Strong analytical skills / aptitude with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information

Interpreting data, analyzing results, using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports

Developing and implementing data analytics and other strategies that optimize data integrity

1+ years of experience in business/finance including analysis experience with a solid understanding of data storage structures

Proven possessing excellent time management principles to juggle competing priorities

Create and maintain training materials for our end-users benefit

Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration or related field

Experience with Medicaid, Social Security Administration (SSA), and other health data specific to state and federal policies and procedures

Working knowledge of relational databases and database structures
