Lead Fund Accountant Jobs in Texas

· Ability to multi-task with good time management skills to meet multiple reporting deadlines

· Good process management skills

· Investor commitments and capital account management

· Prepare quarterly management fee and waterfall calculations

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· 1-3 years of experience in Fund Accounting

2+ years of manufacturing experience is highly preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience with any large ERP is highly desirable

Perform and assist the full month end close process for manufacturing facility

Assist in creation of month end reporting

Lead and/or assist with ad hoc projects and analysis as needed

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related; Master’s degree in Accounting preferred

Big 4 or regional public firm experience preferred

6+ years progressive experience in either public accounting or industry combination required

Previous experience managing teams and process preferred

Previous experience in the SEC reporting/flings process required (public or in-house)

Previous Workiva experience a plus

2-4 years of experience with Hedge Fund Accounting or Audit within a big 4 public accounting firm.

Excellent communication skills, including written and oral communication.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual client financial statements.

Prepare, validate, and assist in the preparation of client accounts, reporting, financial statements, financial audit reporting, and specific client reporting.

Demonstrated ability to meet fast deadlines while often managing multiple competing priorities.
