Landscape Historian Jobs in Iowa

Substantial contribution through research and publication to the body of scholarly knowledge in the field of American architectural history.

Demonstrated experience in a professional capacity as an Architectural Historian, Historian, or Historic Architect

Minimally qualified candidate will meet the following:

Maintain general and technical knowledge of irrigation and turf maintenance.

Manage deliveries, planting and removal of all seasonal plant material.

Working knowledge of lawn equipment.

3 - 5 years’ experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance.

Must meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualifications Standards for historians, published in 36 CRF 61.

Knowledge of Minnesota history and geography.

Knowledge of state and federal historic preservation law and regulation.

Experience conducting project reviews under state and/or federal historic preservation law and regulation.

Computer skills necessary to develop quality project and program documentation.

Bachelor’s degree in history or a closely related field.
