Land Planning Analyst Jobs

College Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance or Real Estate Required or Equivalent work experience

Working with team create initial feasibility budgets. Manage feasibility budgets until either fully land committee approved or terminated requiring right off.

Coordinating with team, including Finance, collect all financial data and assumptions and complete land package financials for review.

Coordinate between Land and Finance to create and maintain cash flow schedules and forecasts associated with land acquisition projections.

Prior experience in the real estate industry, primarily in residential homebuilding preferred

Proven experience with land acquisition, planning, or development function is a major advantage

BBA or BS in Petroleum Land Management/Energy Management, business, or related field preferred.

Knowledge and experience in working with a land administration team.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required.

Minimum of 4 years of in-house land/land department related experience including Oil and Gas land contracts or related experience.

The Land Analyst is also accountable for OBO well proposals and well work elections assuring timely response within our organization.

Communicates with clarity and integrity and understands the need for constant and consistent dialog.

Maintains current knowledge and proficiency in a variety of software and research tools, specifically Metrostudy and the Triangle MLS.

Bachelor’s Degree required in Business, Economics, Real Estate, Finance or similar discipline required.

3-5 years of related experience preferred.

Local real estate knowledge extremely beneficial.

Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and working knowledge of mapping applications required.

Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of the nomenclature, symbols, methods and techniques used in preparing planning maps, development plans and chart preparation.

Some knowledge of the methods and techniques of planning activities and operations.

Skill in the interpretation of maps, sketches and development plans.

Necessary skills to work independently to organize, carry out and maintain control over complex office operations and employee issues.

Ability to interpret and apply the various statutes, codes and regulations applicable to planning activities to process assigned procedures and operations.
