Lab Tester Jobs

Knowledge of ASTM/IP/UOP testing procedures and testing skills required.

Completes all required training (CBT’s, FPDE’s and specialized training) within the defined time.

Obtains samples and performs laboratory analysis on designated products and process streams.

Performs instrument maintenance and calibrations of testing equipment as needed.

Distributes and retains samples according to laboratory guidelines.

Records and reports test results as required.

Perform product and process lab testing on petroleum distillates, black oil, diesel, and water per Marathon and ASTM standardized methods

Input lab results in the LIMS database

Issue Certificates of Analyses for finished product

Support refinery operations, terminals, and customers

Drive a company vehicle to pick up and deliver samples

Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shift schedule
