Krmc Nuclear Medicine Technologist Jobs in Maine

Graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine educational program approved by the American Medical Association and American College of Nuclear Physicians.

Certification as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the state of California.

Ability to demonstrate knowledge of and to utilize the principles, theories, practices and techniques of nuclear medicine imaging.

Ability to demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy, medical terminology, physiology, radiobiology, physics, chemistry and mathematics related to Nuclear Medicine.

Two (2) years clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in an acute care medical center.

Demonstrating professional maturity in all interactions with patients and staff.

12. Uses effective inter/intra-departmental communication and participation with medical staff, management, technical and support staff.

Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCEMNT) accredited program

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/ Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association and/or the American Red Cross

Training gained at student level.

Position requires employee to constantly see objects far away as in driving and see close objects such as reading thermometers.

1. Verifies patient identification and physician order.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Experience: Progressive experience and demonstrated technical knowledge in Nuclear Medicine Technology preferred.

Education: Graduate of an accredited radiologic and/or nuclear medicine technology program.
