Kennel Technicians Jobs in Alabama

A minimum of 1 year of animal handling experience required.

Observing, feeding and exercising patients / boarders.

Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining kennels and hospital areas.

Wash, dry and fold laundry.

Qualified candidates must be able to recognize obvious signs of illness, disease or distress.

A strong love for animals and the ability to anticipate their needs is necessary for this job.

Must have computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Must possess strong communication skills, good judgment and be able to manage stressful situations.

Previous experience as a kennel assistant

Pay range of $8.50-$16.00/hour based on experience

Maintain the cleanliness of the hospital, including kennel area, runs, treatment area, and outside grounds.
