Major Responsibilities of the Position:

Receive service orders and repair tickets from supervisor or other designated employees and performs specified work.

Identify/explore additional revenue generation opportunities.

Perform customer installations of all communication services, upgrades and downgrades of service, and limited field troubleshooting of equipment.

Collect communications equipment as required.

Troubleshoot customer services generally from the tap to the customer's equipment.

Perform basic troubleshooting of the communications plant for service-impacting issues using diagnostic equipment such as an OTDR, etc.

Ensure all paperwork and documentation is updated and completed.

Ensure vehicles are well-stocked with tools, materials, and inventory.

Experience working remotely across a geographically-dispersed team

Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time to remote sites within a 3-hour drive radius of the base location

Knowledge on Network+, CCNA, CCNP, CCNA Wireless, A+

Responsible for the installation, repair, configuration, test and preventative maintenance of network equipment, telecommunications equipment and computers

Perform basic software troubleshooting and diagnostics, and assist with the setup and configuration of system hardware and software

Provide technical support to end-users and install both hardware and software including operating systems, office applications, and computer hardware
