Junior Power Systems Electrical Engineer Jobs in California

Anticipates, identifies and resolves engineering-related problems and potential problems within assigned areas. Demonstrates knowledge of policy issues and related matters.

Experience with one or more of the following is required:

Requires electric utility/power operations experience.

Provides support to the operations floor, including day-ahead, hour-ahead and real-time desks. Provides training, guidance, and supervisory support for on-call staff.

Leads duties needed to supplement designing, testing and documenting user training or other such activities, when necessary.

May perform related duties and activities as assigned.

2. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and circuit design.

5. Experience with IoT technologies, protocols, and connectivity solutions.

6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent problem-solving skills.

7. Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively present technical concepts.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

As a member of the Electrical Engineering team, you will be responsible for the Responsibilities:

Defining technical requirements and specifications of vehicle systems and components

Solid electrical fundamentals and electrical engineering knowledge

Experience with design and fabrication in production environments

Hands on experience for hardware development and troubleshooting

Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc)

Experience with harness design process (CAD routing, schematic & formboard creation, improving manufacturability & install, etc)

Interface with Enterprise Information Services (EIS) to identify and implement compliant, custom solutions for networked capabilities

Manage access authorization, background jobs, system performance across various levels of classification

You will be depended upon to provide strategic and innovative solutions to address critical system design requirements to support our customers

0-1 year of industry work experience

Experience maintaining Unix and Linux servers and workstations

Knowledge in a multiuser environment, both as a developer and as a Linux administrator
