Junior Assistant Purchasing Buyer Jobs in Utah

Experience in purchasing and inventory management in a distribution environment is required

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

Track orders and manage supply chain to streamline operations from vendors to Amazon FBA.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and forecasting

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Support Category Manager and Inventory Planner programs (i.e. seasonal and line programs).

Successfully manage supplier development and supplier performance.

Fulfill other assignments and tasks as requested by manager.

Order and expedite retail merchandise from outside vendors and internal suppliers to support retail operations within inventory budget parameters.

Partner with vendors to identify lead time reduction opportunities and to improve overall vendor service levels.

Aggressively drive optimization of inventory levels balancing supply with expected demand.
