· Coordinate risk management teams to maintain a consistent risk framework across the organization

· 8-10 years of professional experience in finance; 3+ years of senior level experience

· Proven success in developing, building, and overseeing risk management processes

· MBA, Advanced degree in quantitative finance, and/or CFA preferred

· Thorough knowledge of alternatives and broader fixed income markets

· Enhance framework for monitoring market, exposure and company-specific risks across the portfolio

Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, economics, finance, project management, or other related fields.

Strong knowledge of procurement, safeguards, consultant recruitment, and project management, preferably in infrastructure sector operations.

Oversees, undertakes, and manages the due diligence and mitigation of loan investments and guarantees.

Oversees knowledge building and dissemination to improve clients’ capacity for project execution.

Maintains and shares knowledge on lessons learned from the investment operations and emerging best practices.

Demonstrated experience in liaison with government officials, non-government agencies, technical specialists, and staff from development partners.

●Experience in engineering, product management, or similar fields

●Skilled in networking within the MIT community, acting as a navigator

●Finance background sufficient to parse standard GAAP financial statements

●Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Link Ventures is currently seeking a full-time Investment Principal with the opportunity to become a Partner

Hands-on involvement in the management of portfolio companies, providing advice and access to resources to help them grow

Proven track record of leadership skills and a strong desire to work closely with entrepreneurs

Superior financial modeling skills, comfortable with accounting and strong analytical skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Significant experience managing deal processes

Contributes to the firm's business development and deal origination

General knowledge of the finance sector levers for change, particularly as they relate to DEI initiatives

Strong networking and relationship building skills with LPs, other relevant external parties (e.g., counterparts at comparable firms, industry leaders, et cetera)

Sharp presentation skills, meeting facilitation, negotiation, interpersonal, decision making, consensus building and collaboration ease

Implement DEI Data Investment Group strategy and reporting in partnership with broader ESG working group

Lead Ares Supplier Diversity initiative in partnership with Procurement & Investment Operations and support Ares Supplier Diversity Council

Work with Ares’ Corporate Strategy and Infrastructure Opportunities teams to identify new DEI-related business opportunities

Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to clients, business partners and management.

Strong client relationship management skills.

Work with members of the relationship management team to exceed client service needs and expectations.

Communicate with clients, prospects, attorneys, CPAs, financial planners and other wealth management professionals about investment philosophy and financial market information.

Minimum of 15 years in investment management services. Must have a track record showing employment stability.

Manage investment portfolios to meet client goals and objectives.
