Connect with patients pharmacy benefit plans when treatment is not covered through medical benefits

Minimum two years of relevant experience.

Act as a liaison between the Precert Team and the office/patients for all infusion treatment authorizations

Respond and reply to emails with the Precert Team on a daily basis

Serves as liaison between the physician’s offices, patients, case management department and Patient Registration.

Prepares, reviews for completion, and maintains required documents in accordance with established procedures, time frames and regulatory requirements.

Contacts insurance providers to confirm level of benefits for inpatient admissions.

Communicates with case managers, hospital personnel, and external agencies to provide information or resolve discrepancies.

Enters and retrieves information from various automated systems and prepares specialized reports.

Collects demographic and insurance data and enters accurately in to specialized automated systems.

Experience with managed care companies.

Three (3) years of administrative experience in a medical office setting.

Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written).

Excellent typing skills and friendly telephone etiquette.

Answer telephone calls and takes and routes messages.

Interface with physicians, patients, and administrative personnel.
