EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of and understanding lockout and tag out procedures and requirements according to OSHA standards.

Ability to lead by example and sharing of knowledge/skill.

Ability to adhere to all safety requirements established for the Water Treatment Plant.

Advanced knowledge of 120v circuits and below to perform inspections in compliance with the national electrical code.

Knowledge of instrumentation and analyzers that measure process parameters.

2+ years of experience as a mechanic, technician, or construction worker

3+ years of experience using power tools in a professional capacity

1+ years of experience with electronic system assembly and construction

Experience working at a rocket launch facility and supporting launch campaigns

Basic knowledge of Wheatstone bridge theory, ability to apply ohms law, and an understanding of DC electronics

Experience working in corrosive environments and mitigation techniques

Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system and remote terminal units and equipment

Experience reading and interpreting repair orders, mechanical drawings, procedures, charts, diagrams, dials, gauges, and equipment manuals

Knowledge of: the use and function of reciprocating or gas turbine engines, compressors, and electronic and processing equipment applicable to position

Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with applicable work experience

Experience developing BPCS / SIS architectures, control applications, and hardware specifications using Siemens PCS7.

Participation in P&ID development and Operability and Hazard Reviews

Demonstrates knowledge of flow, pressure, temperature, and level instrumentation.

A minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician OR a degree in an instrumentation field is required.

Maintains and repairs electronic and pneumatic instrumentation.

Possesses a basic understanding and application of instrumentation math, and units of measurement.

Maintains and troubleshoots various types of solenoid valves, switches, meters, indicators, and temperature sensors.

Uses test equipment and performs routine calibrations.
