5 years of Engineering/Technical experience in manufacturing environment.

2 yrs of Injection Molding experience

Must have knowledge of molding process theory, engineering grade resins, and auxiliary equipment.

Communicates daily with shift management to target problem areas and devise action plans

Trains lesser skilled technicians in both technical duties and good working practices

5 years of manufacturing experience as a high level operator / tech

5 years experience of injection Molding Experience

Document and present findings of the improvements to management. Implementing the improvements and it at the floor.

3+ years’ experience as a Process Engineer in a precision injection molding plant

Knowledge of Vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, etc.)

Plant manufacturing (lean) experience (automotive preferred)

Knowledge of APQP quality principles

Requires good organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to support and mentor Process Technicians, Supervisors, and others.

Strong hands on troubleshooting skills specific to manufacturing processes.

Must be able to lead cross-functional teams and manage small to medium projects.

Process leadership for injection mold manufacturing, plastic components and automated processes associated with this.

Drive to improve existing operations for safety, quality, cost and delivery improvements.

Implementation of new processes, including equipment specification, procurement, coordination of installation, process capability, training, process documentation and production startup.

Participation in the management of the expertise network (knowledge capitalization)

Support the engineering change management process
